​Delivery Driver and Field Assistant
We grow 2 acres of vegetables to serve a 115 member CSA, bustling farmers market, and small wholesale account. 

Compensation is $11-14/hour depending on experience (plus vegetables and eggs!). Possible housing available. Field work portion of the job begins in April, driving begins in June, both tasks end at the end of October, could be combined into one position if desired. 
There is a lot of opportunity for learning in this position.  

The ideal candidate:
-Will work quickly and with attention to detail
-Has an interest and desire to farm
-Has good verbal communication, and will ask questions if directions are unclear
-Can to lift 40# on a regular basis
-Will be self motivated and able to work alone
-Will enjoy being outside in all kinds of weather (though, we try to time our inside work for when it's raining)
-Have a reliable vehicle, clean driving record and ability to maneuver full sized delivery van 

April will be mostly building projects, clean up, hoop house planting and field prep, creating flower gardens, greenhouse work and getting to know each other. 
As soon as work in the field is possible, we will work together to prep beds and transplant 2 acres of vegetables. This work is done by hand, and requires heavy lifting/ bending. As we move into harvest season, there will be an opportunity to participate in CSA harvest and washing/packing of vegetables.
