We believe good food should be accessible to all. We appreciate that our CSA members and farmers' market customers value what we do and are willing and able to pay a fair price for our vegetables. However, the American food system is broken, and there are a huge number of people in this county who are unable to access good, healthy food because of its cost. This year, we are starting a program (we are calling it "Share-A-Share") that invites our customers to donate an amount above the cost of their own CSA share, so that we can offer a sliding scale option for folks who would struggle to pay full price.
In 2021, our members donated $650 though our website to the Food For The People Program who in 2021, put together 100 CSA shares for working class, BIPOC residents of Minneapolis.

Food For The People ProgramThis program, organized by the former Shared Ground Farmers' Cooperative and DNA (Divine Natural Ancestry), in 2021 distributed 100 (free) CSA memberships to low income/working class BIPOC community members in the Twin Cities. Donate to their CSA program in 2022!
